Russian Interpreter (OPI/VRI)

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate English-Russian interpretation for OPI/VRI healthcare and medical calls
• Render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Apply professional standards of practice and interpreter code of conduct
• Take notes during calls and maintain industry-specific medical vocabulary knowledge
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient speakers and clients
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Report to team leader and comply with video remote interpreting dress code

Requirements

• Professional interpreter certification
• Native or near-native fluency in English and Russian
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology
• 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload wired internet connection (Wi-Fi not allowed)
• Windows 10+ operating system, 8GB RAM, dual-core 2GHz processor
• Noise-cancelling wired headset with microphone (no Bluetooth/wireless)
• Dedicated home office setup meeting all technical specifications
