Russian OPI/VRI Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate English-Russian OPI/VRI interpretation for healthcare and medical calls
• Render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Apply professional standards of practice and interpreter code of conduct
• Take detailed notes during calls and maintain industry-specific vocabulary knowledge
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient speakers and clients
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Report to team leaders and comply with dress code for video remote interpreting

Requirements

• Professional English-Russian interpretation certification
• Healthcare and medical terminology knowledge
• Minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload wired internet (Wi-Fi not allowed)
• Windows 10+ with Intel Core i5 or equivalent dual-core 2 GHz processor
• 8 GB RAM minimum and computer operating in "High Performance" mode
• Noise-cancelling wired headset with microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth)
• High tolerance and accuracy under pressure
