Russian VRI/OPI Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate English-Russian interpretation via phone (OPI) and video (VRI) in healthcare and medical settings
• Render all messages completely and accurately without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with interpreter standards of practice
• Take detailed notes during calls and apply industry-specific medical terminology
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient patients and healthcare providers
• Complete internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Report to team leaders and adhere to dress code requirements for video sessions

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in English and Russian
• Professional interpretation certification
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology
• Dedicated wired internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload)
• Windows 10+ computer with dual-core 2GHz processor and 8 GB RAM minimum
• Noise-cancelling wired headset with microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth)
• Ability to work in "High Performance" power mode with plugged-in power adapter
