Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients within the electric utility space to build a qualified lead pipeline
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person events to introduce AI solutions
- Engage with prospects to understand needs, challenges, and budget to qualify leads
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and campaign development
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track performance metrics
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of AI technology and its applications in the electric utility industry
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting targets
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
