Job description

Responsibilities

  • Map, prospect, pitch, and close new retail partners in your region, acting as a category-level expert and building a strong pipeline of leads.
  • Communicate through physical visits, emails, calls, and social media to showcase Deliveroo's technology and value proposition to retail partners.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for partners, ensuring it is efficient and seamless.
  • Drive partner success within the first eight weeks of signing.
  • Attend meetups and events to foster relationships and represent Deliveroo.
  • KPIs include the number of partners signed monthly and partner performance during the initial three months.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of sales experience
  • Demonstrable sales track record in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to create win-win deals
  • Understanding of delivery economics for retail businesses
  • Strong product and industry knowledge
  • Ownership mentality with experience working toward demanding targets
  • Interest in food and retail
  • Tenacious and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the restaurants sector is a plus
  • Fluency in Hindi or Arabic is strongly preferred
