Job description
Responsibilities
- Actively work with Regional Sales Managers to develop account plans combining business and technology strategies
- Take accountability for all technical issues during pre-sales engagements
- Manage the technology side of the sales process, including developing technical strategies and tactics
- Develop and deliver customer-specific solution-oriented presentations and demonstrations
- Manage and assist execution of solution evaluations to prove business objectives and technical requirements are met
- Architect innovative solutions leveraging 3rd party and Liquibase technologies
- Partner with Product Management to provide customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required (Computer Science, EE, or MIS preferred)
- 5+ years of successful pre-sales experience at an enterprise software company
- Experience running proof-of-value engagements focused on measurable customer outcomes
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and Agile processes
- Experience with cloud computing and related technologies
- Experience with two or more database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with scripting languages such as shell, Ruby, or Groovy
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems
- Proficiency with Source Code Management (Git, Subversion, TFS)
- Experience with Build Automation (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Deployment Automation (Azure DevOps, Harness.io, Octopus Deploy)
- Ability to travel up to 35%
- Located in the United States (East Coast preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Database application development experience
- Experience with modern cloud and Kubernetes application environments
- Experience with Liquibase or other database schema management tools
- Ability to run or contribute to webinars
