Sales Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Sales Engineers for the SLED team
• Recruit and hire top Sales Engineering talent to expand coverage
• Enable and provide technical leadership to Sales Engineers in the region
• Provide technical direction to Sales Teams to build solutions for customers
• Assist in the analysis, design, and development of integrated technology solutions
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in distributed architectures, file systems, and storage offerings
• Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior management
• Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and an internal resource for technical issues
• Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives

Requirements

• 3+ years of sales engineering management experience, preferably in software or data center environments
• Fundamental technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup, disaster recovery, and data analytics
• Experience working with Cx0 level personnel to solve business challenges
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple daily demos and follow-ups
