Job description
Responsibilities
- Manage the Middle East sales territory and sell NORIT products, achieving targets for revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding.
- Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans and strategies for desired results.
- Drive current and future value for NORIT by understanding customer and portfolio profitability, and focus on differentiation at the customer interface.
- Communicate and negotiate complex sales contracts; educate customers on products and enhancements with support from Application Specialists.
- Identify new market opportunities, target builds, and competitive intelligence. Maintain accurate budget and forecast processes.
- Lead efforts in indirect channel management/distribution management and customer service.
- Utilize Salesforce.com as the main CRM tool; maintain up-to-date Sales Funnel using ComStrat, Balance of Power, and ENS negotiation preparation documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or bio-chemistry.
- 7+ years external sales experience in the chemical or pharma industry (experience with activated carbon is an advantage).
- Effective verbal and written communication, concise and direct.
- Ownership and responsibility for achieving results.
- Experience with channel partners/distribution management (advantage).
