Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Middle East sales territory and sell NORIT products, achieving targets for revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding.
  • Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans and strategies for desired results.
  • Drive current and future value for NORIT by understanding customer and portfolio profitability, and focus on differentiation at the customer interface.
  • Communicate and negotiate complex sales contracts; educate customers on products and enhancements with support from Application Specialists.
  • Identify new market opportunities, target builds, and competitive intelligence. Maintain accurate budget and forecast processes.
  • Lead efforts in indirect channel management/distribution management and customer service.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com as the main CRM tool; maintain up-to-date Sales Funnel using ComStrat, Balance of Power, and ENS negotiation preparation documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or bio-chemistry.
  • 7+ years external sales experience in the chemical or pharma industry (experience with activated carbon is an advantage).
  • Effective verbal and written communication, concise and direct.
  • Ownership and responsibility for achieving results.
  • Experience with channel partners/distribution management (advantage).
