Job description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the commercial development and turnover for Solar products across the Middle East (excluding KSA).
  • Develop and implement robust, sustainable sales strategies for the Solar Lighting segment.
  • Validate market potential and identify key players, projects, and trends.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the company’s solutions and services.
  • Analyze market needs, competition, and opportunities.
  • Promote qualitative and technical solutions.
  • Ensure profitable sales growth and boost Schréder brand recognition in the area.
  • Set and manage sales budgets and strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers (municipalities, ministries, private sector, lighting associations).
  • Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage lead generation, conduct complex negotiations, and oversee bidding/tender processes.
  • Provide financial and forecasting data to management and ensure targets are met.

Requirements

  • Major in Business, Commercial Engineering, Economics, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering, or a relevant field
  • 5–7 years sales experience in the Lighting industry
  • 2–3 years of experience specific to Solar products
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
  • Advanced selling, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Strategic mindset
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
  • Project management proficiency
  • Strong MS Office and CRM knowledge
  • Ability to build client relationships and deliver presentations
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and target-driven

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with complex, long-cycle negotiations (over a year)
  • Experience serving public sector and private sector clients
  • Knowledge of local Middle East lighting market dynamics
