Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy across assigned countries in East and South Africa
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government entities, partners, and enterprise customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to deal closure
  • Structure and negotiate strategic and high-value commercial agreements
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline across priority markets
  • Collaborate with internal teams including legal, technical, and bid departments
  • Represent the company in high-level engagements with customers and government stakeholders
  • Achieve revenue targets and support regional growth strategy

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience within the East and South Africa region
  • Extensive knowledge of East and South Africa markets and their political/cultural environments
  • Strong network of partners and government contacts across the region
  • Proven track record of closing complex, tender-driven deals with long sales cycles
  • Experience structuring complex deals such as consortiums, joint ventures, or PPP models
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with government identity solutions and identity ecosystems (biometrics, PKI, secure documents)
  • Proficiency in Swahili
