Job description
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy across assigned countries in East and South Africa
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government entities, partners, and enterprise customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to deal closure
- Structure and negotiate strategic and high-value commercial agreements
- Build and manage a strong pipeline across priority markets
- Collaborate with internal teams including legal, technical, and bid departments
- Represent the company in high-level engagements with customers and government stakeholders
- Achieve revenue targets and support regional growth strategy
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience within the East and South Africa region
- Extensive knowledge of East and South Africa markets and their political/cultural environments
- Strong network of partners and government contacts across the region
- Proven track record of closing complex, tender-driven deals with long sales cycles
- Experience structuring complex deals such as consortiums, joint ventures, or PPP models
- Fluency in English and French
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with government identity solutions and identity ecosystems (biometrics, PKI, secure documents)
- Proficiency in Swahili
