Sales Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

• Research and document taxability determinations, tax rates, and compliance requirements
• Drive the preparation and filing of tax returns for customers
• Engage with third-party accounting partners on internal research projects
• Support customers through onboarding and simplify complex tax questions
• Analyze tax implications of new business activities and product features
• Support Product Tax Code research and validation
• Respond to tax technical questions from internal teams
• Contribute to knowledge base development

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in indirect tax (international VAT experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with physical goods indirect tax compliance
• Experience researching technical issues and managing registration and returns processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solutions-oriented approach to customer engagement
• Experience or interest in using AI to build workflows or creative solutions
