Salesforce APEX Engineer

Description We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Apex Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Visualforce. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that enhance our Salesforce environment.

Responsibilities

• Custom Development: Design, develop, and implement customized applications and features on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Integration: Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications, ensuring high availability and performance of the platform.
• Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards and design patterns.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and deployment plans.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Salesforce technologies and best practices to recommend enhancements that improve system functionality and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development with a strong focus on Apex programming.
• Proficiency in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning components.
• Experience with Salesforce integration techniques using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Developer Certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as JavaScript or Java is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Change Sets, Ant Migration Tool).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
