Salesforce Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, and industry-specific clouds
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
• Evaluate and design integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards for scalability, security, and performance
• Guide development teams through design reviews, best practices, and code quality oversight
• Define API standards and data models to support well-architected solutions
• Support pre-sales activities through solutioning, effort estimation, and architecture advisory
• Create and maintain technical documentation including ERDs, sequence diagrams, and architecture blueprints

Requirements

• 8+ years of client-facing consulting experience with Salesforce architecture and solution design
• 8+ years of hands-on experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
• Required certifications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and one or more Salesforce Architect domain certifications
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform limits, security model, deployment architecture, and performance
• Strong background in integration approaches including RESTful APIs, middleware platforms, and batch/real-time interfaces
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce release strategies
• Experience working in Agile project methodologies with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Data Cloud, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud
• Strong system documentation skills (ERDs, process flows, sequence diagrams)
