Salesforce Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the Salesforce ecosystem, owning solution design and architectural principles
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions
• Lead the design of data models, automation strategies, and integration patterns
• Provide technical guidance to administrators, developers, and cross-functional teams
• Oversee Salesforce releases, platform updates, and feature evaluations
• Define and enforce development best practices including CI/CD pipelines and version control
• Lead code reviews, performance optimizations, and technical troubleshooting
• Collaborate with engineering on integrations between Salesforce and other platforms
• Maintain platform security, compliance, and regular audits
• Create and maintain technical documentation and governance policies

Requirements

• 6+ years of Salesforce experience
• 2+ years in a lead, solution design, or architecture-focused role
• Required certifications: Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Sales or Service Cloud Consultant
• Proven track record with Apex, LWC, and API integrations
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security models, and governor limits
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Gearset or Copado
• Experience with multi-environment sandbox and release processes
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Application Architect or Data Architect certification
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (Sales, Service, Experience)
• Background in enterprise integration patterns or middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi)
• Familiarity with data warehousing or analytics (Snowflake, Tableau)
