Responsibilities

• Fact check scripts, animations, and edits for long-form and short-form YouTube videos
• Provide lists of reference material for scripts
• Feed back suggestions for improvements to scriptwriters and editors
• Source relevant images and video footage from reputable scientific institutions and stock libraries
• Verify authenticity and accuracy of visual content
• Ensure all sourced material complies with copyright laws
• Research and write scripts for Astrum Earth
• Research existing and new content ideas

Requirements

• Degree in science, physics, geology, paleontology, or related fields
• Writing experience (science articles, blogs, copywriting, scripts, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and critical analysis skills
• Interest or experience in science communication and public outreach
• Passion for geology, meteorology, and paleontology

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in or experience in YouTube video production
• Experience finding archives to illustrate scientific concepts
