Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Shapes the development and implementation of the One Agile Way of Working, continuously advancing agile practices and promoting the culture associated with the Agile Way of Working.
• Engages teams through clear communication, constructive feedback, and simplifying complex issues.
• Directs teams to ensure organization goals are attained, implements and monitors software development processes, and reports to senior management.
• Helps Scrum Team focus on delivering high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
• Removes impediments to Scrum Team progress and ensures all Scrum events are positive, productive, and time-boxed.
• Ensures Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines are understood and adhered to by the team.
• Coaches Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, and domain knowledge.
• Organizes and runs sprints, ensuring adherence to sprint cadence.
• Collaborates with other Scrum Masters to resolve impediments and improve effectiveness within the organization.
• Works with Head of TMO and other Scrum Masters to align dashboards.
• Facilitates and supports all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
• Ensures Azure Boards are up-to-date.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of work experience
• Demonstrable experience in Azure DevOps
• CSM/Scrum certification
• Proven history of working in Agile projects
• Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), SDLC models, and project management principles
• Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing, Agile Games
• Experience with patterns and techniques for filling gaps in Scrum (Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
• Strong background in software design and development
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
