Security Advisor

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers onsite and remotely to analyze policies, network infrastructure, and IT configurations
• Perform gap analyses of current environments and controls
• Make recommendations for remediation steps to achieve compliance objectives
• Conduct interviews and physical assessments to evaluate networks and operations
• Assist with sales and marketing activities as a subject matter expert

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in information security or privacy
• At least one industry-recognized certification (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIA, or GSNA)
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, NIST CSF, ISO 27000, GLBA, GDPR, and PCI DSS
• Technical understanding of IT models like the OSI Model and cloud computing
• Ability to travel 25% to 50%
