Security Engineer Partner Senior | AppSec

Responsibilities

• Act as the security focal point within Jus Soluções, participating in plannings, refinements, and RFCs with engineering and product teams
• Lead the implementation of robust authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO), including domain separation and integration with external identity providers
• Ensure applications, APIs, and integrations are developed with Secure by Design principles
• Perform recurring threat modeling on products and critical flows, identifying and prioritizing risks based on business impact
• Conduct continuous security reviews of code, architecture, and external integrations
• Build and maintain AppSec practices, including secure coding guidelines and review checklists
• Translate technical risks into business impact for product stakeholders, leadership, and clients

Requirements

• Solid experience in software development
• Practical knowledge in Application Security: OWASP Top 10, API Security, authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, OIDC), and data protection
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and modern architecture (microservices, REST/gRPC APIs)
• Ability to influence teams without direct authority
• Fluency in AI: Experience using Generative AI tools as part of the workflow
• Proactive and resolute profile with autonomy to build solutions from scratch

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LGPD and data protection requirements applied to digital products
• Familiarity with secure infrastructure and developing projects with open source solutions
