Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build world-class security into product offerings through security operations
• Maintain and improve monitoring and alerting stacks
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to security incidents
• Conduct application security testing and security reviews for application and infrastructure
• Proactively improve security of codebase, product, cloud, and on-premise deployments
• Perform threat modeling and proactive research to detect new attack vectors
• Maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards

Requirements

• Practical experience reviewing SIEM alerts and participating in on-call rotations
• Experience securing SaaS applications (infrastructure, application, or compliance)
• Proficiency with Go, including writing internal tooling and performing code reviews
• Experience with Elastic stack and GCP
• Experience automating defensive security tools
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• High agency mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Software engineering background with direct application contribution experience
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Proficiency with TypeScript and Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience securing AI products
