Responsibilities
- Lead all sales activities across the defense and national security segment
- Build and grow relationships with defense primes and uncrewed systems OEMs
- Develop and execute capture plans for defense opportunities including OTAs and SBIR/STTR transitions
- Engage program offices, contracting officers, and operational end users
- Identify and manage teaming arrangements and integrator partnerships
- Maintain a multi-year pipeline reflecting defense budget and acquisition cycles
- Partner with marketing and product to tailor defense-specific messaging
- Represent the company at key defense and uncrewed systems events
- Travel approximately 30–40% to customer sites and industry events
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in defense technology, uncrewed systems, or safety-critical technology sales
- Proven success selling integrated hardware/software solutions into defense primes or DoD customers
- Working knowledge of defense acquisition pathways (FAR/DFARS, OTAs, SBIR/STTR)
- Ability to manage long, multi-stakeholder capture cycles
- Consistent record of exceeding quota in complex technical sales environments
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Must be a U.S. person due to ITAR requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level
