Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales activities across Canada, balancing new business development and existing account expansion
  • Grow strategic accounts and drive adoption of FORT’s safety, connectivity, and control solutions
  • Develop regional sales strategies to achieve annual bookings and revenue targets
  • Partner with marketing to tailor campaigns and generate qualified leads
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, and enterprise customers
  • Conduct account reviews to assess satisfaction and uncover growth opportunities
  • Report on regional pipeline, performance metrics, and strategic progress
  • Represent FORT at regional and national trade shows and industry events
  • Travel 30–40% within the region and periodically to Philadelphia HQ

Requirements

  • 7+ years in account management, business development, or enterprise sales in industrial automation, IoT, robotics, or safety-critical technology
  • Proven enterprise sales success using mutual close plans, power maps, and partner influencers
  • Track record managing large territories and key accounts through acquisition and growth
  • Experience selling integrated hardware/software solutions and communicating technical value
  • Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Consistent history of exceeding quota in complex, technical environments
  • Regional territory planning, pipeline development, and strategic account management skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with executives and technical buyers
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and sales analytics tools
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and able to collaborate with cross-functional leadership
