Job description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery and solution alignment to negotiation and closing
  • Expand existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Conduct consultative discovery to understand client business goals and technical infrastructure needs
  • Develop trusted relationships with executive decision-makers including CIOs and IT Directors
  • Accurately track and report sales activity and pipeline in CRM tools
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure a strong customer experience

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value technology or infrastructure deals
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed multi-million-dollar annual quotas
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Working technical knowledge of storage infrastructure (SAN), SEM, and server environments
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established professional network in the technology sector
  • Experience with major infrastructure and storage vendors
  • Ability to ramp quickly with limited formal training
