Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Communicate issues and escalations to the Accounting Manager or Controller
• Process invoices, expense reports, basic payroll, benefits, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting
• Perform reconciliations and accurately code banking transactions in accordance with US GAAP
• Review Staff Accountant work and provide technical support and process documentation
• Conduct training sessions and facilitate client interaction
• Review new vendor setups and approve expense reporting

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in an accounting role
• Experience with accounts payable and payroll preferred
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Xero or QuickBooks
• Comfort with Gsuite, Microsoft Office, Box, and Slack
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
