LeagueApps is the operating system and community for youth and local sports leaders, providing the technology, tools, and professional network needed to grow and scale. Our platform powers thousands of clubs, tournaments, and leagues, serving over 10 million participants nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor onboarding, invoice coding, and payment runs
• Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and collections
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for cash, prepaids, and accruals
• Prepare and post journal entries to support monthly and quarterly closes
• Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules in compliance with GAAP
• Partner with the Controller on close timelines, flux analysis, and audit requests
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI and modern tooling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to resolve billing issues

Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong working understanding of GAAP
• Hands-on experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Must be located in one of the approved US states (AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, PA, SC, VA, WA)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business environment
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Ramp, and Stripe Billing
• Experience using AI or automation tools for accounting workflows
• CPA certification or actively pursuing one
