Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Apply job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) principles to track project profitability
• Support percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing
• Integrate and optimize external applications with QuickBooks Online
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and subcontractor payments
• Support compliance for federally funded projects, including certified payroll and prevailing wage documentation

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies
• Strong knowledge of construction or job-costed accounting practices
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Slack, and Google Workspace
• Full professional fluency in English (written & verbal)
• Must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe
• CPA certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with federal or government-funded project accounting
• Familiarity with Bill.com, ClickUp, Gusto, or Ramp
• Experience with construction-specific software like JobNimbus or AccuLynx
• Awareness of AI applications in accounting
