Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Serve as the main accounting point of contact for client stakeholders
• Apply startup accounting principles to balance best practices with resource constraints
• Integrate and optimize external applications with QuickBooks Online
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor/client interactions
• Leverage tools such as QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Sheets, and Zoom daily

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies
• CPA certification preferred
• Proven success managing external stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of startup accounting practices
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Slack, and Google Workspace
• Full professional fluency in English
• Experience integrating external applications with QuickBooks Online

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rippling, Brex, Bill.com, ClickUp, Gusto, or Ramp
• Awareness of AI use cases in accounting
