Senior AI Controls Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert to create facility models for product ingestion
• Map tag data and review Insights logic for facility-specific requirements
• Identify and define product requirements based on customer specifications
• Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to scale automated tools
• Troubleshoot, triage, and analyze issues with control systems and equipment
• Translate customer needs into coherent documentation for software development teams
• Lead the deployment and support of multiple solutions in parallel

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience as a controls engineer or programmer
• Expertise in Power Distribution Systems in Data Centers
• Experience with PLC, ladder logic, text, or block programming languages
• Ability to read and write Python scripts
• Strong understanding of applied physics for electrical systems
• Experience with industrial and commercial control systems and protocols
• Background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying AI and ML in controls applications
• Experience architecting services within cloud platforms
• Experience with statistics and analytics
• Familiarity with markup languages like XML, JSON, or YAML
• Experience building and operating codebases/services
