Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain APIs that integrate generative AI models into production systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify generative AI use cases
• Implement and optimize workflows for model inference using large-scale pre-trained models
• Contribute to generative AI model pipelines, supporting monitoring and performance
• Conduct experiments to evaluate models against metrics like fluency and factual accuracy
• Support the reliability, scalability, and security of generative AI systems
• Document processes, architectures, and technical decisions

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in ML/AI engineering
• Experience with LLM design patterns including RAG
• Familiarity with vector search, semantic search, and document indexing
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and vector databases
• Experience with Vertex AI or similar managed AI platforms
• Hands-on experience with LLM evaluation frameworks
• Familiarity with experiment tracking tools like Weights & Biases
• Working knowledge of MLOps practices (deployment, monitoring, CI/CD)
• Experience with Node.js and/or TypeScript
• Experience designing and versioning REST APIs
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with the GCP ecosystem
