Senior Analyst, MENA Strategic Insights Contractor

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze economic, political, and business trends in the MENA region
• Forecast macroeconomic indicators and conduct ongoing economic analysis
• Write concise and impactful research deliverables for a senior executive audience
• Deliver research presentations to senior executive clients
• Manage and oversee one additional team member within the MENA Strategic Insights team
• Collaborate with commercial teams to support client relationships and growth strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Regional Studies, or International Relations from a reputable institution
• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international economics)
• Demonstrated knowledge of macroeconomics from prior experience or coursework
• 2+ years’ experience in research or analysis roles, ideally in or for the private sector
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong ability to distill complex technical topics for business executives
• Proven time and project management skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
• Outstanding writing and presentation skills
• Robust problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented mindset

• Cross-cultural work, research, or personal experience (especially developed/emerging markets)
• Ability to quickly learn and cover unfamiliar topics
• Proven track record of communicating with C-suite executives
