Senior Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to scope analyses, define metrics, and drive decision-making
• Own end-to-end dashboard development and business intelligence products
• Design and maintain data models and pipelines using dbt
• Ensure data quality and trust through testing and monitoring
• Collaborate with engineering on event instrumentation and schema changes
• Advance AI-assisted analytics workflows for SQL development and modeling
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members

Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional analytics experience
• Strong SQL proficiency for complex queries and debugging
• Experience with data modeling and schema design (facts vs. dimensions)
• Hands-on experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Hex, Looker, Tableau)
• Familiarity with version control workflows like Git
• Experience with dbt or strong motivation to learn it
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment (Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery)

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Python
• Practical experience using AI tools in analytics workflows
