Senior Appian Associate

Responsibilities

• Work with senior leaders to scope and design Appian solutions that meet client expectations and business needs
• Lead scrum teams to deliver on-time solutions following agile methodology
• Develop software solutions as a member of a software delivery team
• Mentor and develop Junior Appian Developers and maintain technical knowledge

Requirements

• 2+ years leading software development teams implementing Appian
• 4-6 years of experience in software development engagements
• Experience in database and system integration
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Advanced database knowledge including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and explain plans
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Appian Level 2 certification
• Experience with Scrum training, SQL, Performance Tools, and Automation Testing
• Expertise in requirement discovery, data modeling, and BPM application design
• Ability to architect small-scale projects, including plugins and external APIs
• Experience performing code reviews and suggesting refactoring opportunities
