Senior Application Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• Deliver Application Security services including Threat Modeling, Architecture Reviews, and AppSec/DevSecOps Program Assessments
• Author comprehensive assessment deliverables for technical and managerial audiences
• Provide remediation guidance and analyze complex application architectures
• Integrate security into the SDLC and work directly within development teams
• Assist with practice development, mentoring, and improving service offerings
• Contribute to marketing initiatives through research, speaking, and writing
• Manage concurrent client engagements and foster client relationships

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in Application Security and/or Software Development (at least 3 years in AppSec)
• Minimum of 2 years in consulting or internal security roles communicating with technical and executive leadership
• Hands-on experience with generative AI in automated workflows
• Proficiency in JavaScript, shell, Python, Java, C++, PHP, or C#
• Understanding of OWASP SAMM, OWASP DSOMM, NIST SSDF, SLSA, NIST AI RMF, and MITRE ATLAS
• Experience with operational DevSecOps and secure implementation practices
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
