Senior Atlassian Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer Jira Server / Data Center, Confluence, and Atlassian Cloud environments
• Configure and support workflows, permissions, dashboards, JQL, automations, integrations, and plugins
• Monitor Jira performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform stability and reliability
• Support maintenance, upgrades, housekeeping, and incident resolution
• Improve Jira governance and reduce configuration debt
• Automate routine administrative tasks using ScriptRunner, REST API, and scripting tools
• Collaborate with Infra, SRE, DBA, and engineering teams to resolve system and performance issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Jira Server / Jira Data Center and Confluence administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira workflows, permissions, custom fields, users, groups, dashboards, JQL, and reporting
• Experience troubleshooting Jira Server issues including logs, indexing, and performance bottlenecks
• Understanding of Jira architecture, JVM basics, and indexing
• Experience working with REST API, ScriptRunner, webhooks, and administrative automation
• Ability to write and maintain Groovy, Python, or Bash scripts
• Fluent Russian and intermediate (B1) or higher English level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira / Confluence Cloud administration
