Senior AWS DevOps

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure for production workloads operating in the UAE (Dubai).
• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders; lead requirement discussions, architecture reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
• Lead and mentor DevOps engineers; define standards, best practices, and runbooks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Argo CD).
• Manage containerized workloads and orchestration on AWS EKS; maintain Docker images and registries.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (modules, remote state, testing).
• Support cloud migration and modernization (on-prem → AWS) and execute cutovers with minimal disruption.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic/Dynatrace).
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, RCA, and continuous operational improvements.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, identity & access controls, network segmentation, and cost optimization.

• CRR & SRR replication
• S3 Access Points & VPC-restricted access
• Pre-signed URLs and multipart uploads
• Prefix design & request parallelization
• SSE-S3 / SSE-KMS and public access blocking
• Object ownership, ACLs, lifecycle policies, Intelligent-Tiering
• Performance tuning and cost optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD)
• DevSecOps experience and tooling
• Experience managing large-scale, highly available production systems
• AWS certifications (Associate/Professional)
• Experience with Argo CD / GitOps at scale
• Experience supporting on-call rotations and critical production SLAs
