Senior AWS Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex AWS architectures, ensuring alignment with best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop and execute cloud strategies that support business objectives, leveraging AWS services.
• Implement and advocate security best practices throughout the architecture, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Continuously monitor and optimize performance of cloud applications and services with AWS tools and analytics.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation; foster a culture of knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar senior technical role, with a portfolio of successful AWS projects.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation); AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent preferred.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD methodologies, and automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to continuous learning; stay updated with latest trends in cloud computing and architecture.
