Senior Azure Platform/DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build new Azure platforms from scratch including network, compute, and data services
• Manage Terraform infrastructure as code, including state management, migrations, and safe in-place updates
• Maintain platform health through provider upgrades, security management, and drift prevention
• Partner with client DevOps engineers to advise on architecture and unblock deployment failures

Requirements

• Extensive experience building and running production Azure environments
• Deep expertise in Azure networking (VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, Application Gateway)
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform on Azure, including workspaces and remote backends
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD and Azure Container Registry

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305
• Experience with Temporal or similar workflow runtimes
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting
• Previous experience in consulting or client-embedded roles
