Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Define architecture and technical standards
• Build and optimize APIs and services
• Design and optimize data models
• Implement security and data protection practices
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Lead code reviews and best practices
• Provide technical support to other developers
• Collaborate with frontend teams and technical stakeholders
• Participate in architectural decisions

Requirements

• Solid experience in backend development
• Proficiency in at least one backend language
• Experience designing REST APIs or similar
• Advanced knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Experience in designing scalable systems
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with version control
• Ability to make technical decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with containers and orchestration
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Experience in high-availability environments
