Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade microservices.
• Implement authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), rate limiting, and background jobs.
• Integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases and external APIs/services.
• Add observability (logging/monitoring) and automate CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead development of containerized services and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, data, and ML teams to deliver reliable, production-ready features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Skilled in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD, and Git.
• Proficient in authentication and security best practices (OAuth2, JWT).
• Familiarity with observability, background jobs, and rate limiting.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and ownership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Exposure to cross-functional teams including data science and ML engineering.
• Proven track record in building scalable, cloud-based backend systems.
