Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Lambda-first microservices that handle real money flows and integrations
• Design REST APIs with type-safe schemas and robust contracts
• Model data using DynamoDB (access patterns first) and PostgreSQL
• Ship event-driven workflows using SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions
• Ensure high observability through structured logging and distributed tracing
• Write comprehensive tests using Mocha and Sinon to protect releases and maintain quality

Requirements

• Strong hands-on backend engineering experience in TypeScript and Node.js
• Real AWS production experience building, operating, and debugging systems
• Ability to ship fast while maintaining high code quality and engineering fundamentals
• Daily use of AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and analysis
• English proficiency at a B2+ level
