Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve data integration infrastructure, including marketing enablement and experimentation data flows
• Build connective tissue between Growth's external tools and internal systems
• Partner with the Growth team to translate priorities into executable engineering work
• Balance development velocity with system health through deliberate tradeoffs
• Work across the full product stack as needed with a backend focus

Requirements

• 5+ years of production software experience in a startup or high-ownership environment
• Experience with data and experimentation infrastructure
• Ability to weigh technical tradeoffs between velocity and system health
• Experience translating ambiguous product requirements into scoped work
• History of working closely with Product Managers on user-facing teams
• Understanding of the iterative nature of Growth and top-of-funnel work

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience on a Growth or marketing-adjacent engineering team
• Familiarity with Go, GCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform
• Experience with Salesforce data pipelines or CRM integrations
• Background in legal, healthcare, or financial services
