Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable backend microservices using Go
• Collaborate with product managers and front-end teams to define API specifications and integration points
• Ensure services are deployed, monitored, and scaled efficiently in a Kubernetes environment
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and planning sessions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring high availability and performance
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and infrastructure

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend software development
• Expert proficiency in Go (Golang) for high-concurrency microservices
• Advanced expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Proven experience owning microservices end-to-end from design to scaling
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL), NoSQL (Redis), and realtime analytics (Clickhouse)
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, API security (JWT, OAuth 2.0), and system design patterns
• Strong Linux fundamentals and networking knowledge
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD automated deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and streaming data processing
• Knowledge of performance tuning for Python and Go applications
