Senior Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, operate and solve production problems on services running on the cloud (specially AWS)
• Participate in product evolution prioritization based on data-driven decisions
• Face and solve scalability, maintainability and reliability challenges
• Build frameworks and tools for identifying performance bottlenecks, measuring, monitoring and optimizing backend performance

Requirements

• Prior experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices using Go
• Experience with Object Oriented and Functional programming
• Knowledge of Automated Tests, Distributed Systems and Secure Development concepts
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases, queries and data modeling
• Knowledge of Linux, Infrastructure as Code, Networking, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience dealing with high-scale applications supporting millions of transactions per day
• Experience with asynchronous communication and concurrency challenges in distributed systems
