Job description
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure revenue opportunities through grants, corporate training, sponsorships, and IP commercialisation
- Lead the end-to-end deal lifecycle from origination to negotiation and contracting
- Build and manage a strategic pipeline aligned to Creative Economy priorities
- Secure partnerships with donors, DFIs, financial institutions, and media companies
- Position ALX and PRISM as leaders in creative talent development and workforce readiness
- Manage key partner relationships to ensure delivery excellence and account expansion
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet commercial and impact objectives
- Represent ALX across the creative, corporate, and investment ecosystems
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial strategy
- Proven track record in the creative industries, media, or education sectors
- Experience driving revenue through grants, sponsorships, and corporate partnerships
- Strong understanding of the creative economy, IP monetisation, and creator economies
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working across regional or global markets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with DFIs, donors, or impact investment ecosystems
- Established network in creative industries, media, or financial institutions
- Experience scaling workforce development or creative enterprise programmes
- Exposure to content production or IP development
- Entrepreneurial or venture-building experience
- High level of AI tool fluency
