Senior Category Manager – Beauty

Responsibilities

• Scale the beauty vertical in the UAE market by leading seller acquisition and onboarding
• Manage end-to-end marketplace operations and maintain full commercial accountability for the P&L
• Act as a subject-matter expert on the beauty landscape, including skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare
• Coach brands and creators on running high-converting beauty livestreams and product demonstrations
• Drive category growth through creator collaborations, exclusive launches, and targeted marketing campaigns
• Partner with internal product and marketing teams to implement seller feedback into platform improvements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the beauty industry (e.g., buyer, account manager, or brand manager)
• Full professional fluency in English; Arabic fluency is preferred
• Strong project management skills with the ability to scale digital marketplace operations
• Comprehensive industry literacy regarding product lines, price points, and local retail players in the UAE
• Established relationships with brands, distributors, or beauty retailers in the regional market

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within an e-commerce marketplace or a creator-focused platform
• Experience working at a prominent UAE-focused beauty retailer
• Personal experience buying, selling, or trading on livestream apps or auction marketplaces
