Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of New York large group employer clients (100–2000 lives) as a trusted advisor
  • Lead annual service plan execution including renewals, open enrollment, compliance support, and vendor deployment
  • Design creative, consultative benefit solutions based on New York market knowledge and alternative funding arrangements
  • Develop and deliver renewal presentations, financial reporting, budget reviews, and education sessions
  • Foster executive-level relationships and collaborate with internal teams to streamline servicing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent education
  • 7-15 years of employee benefits experience with a brokerage
  • 5+ years of recent experience independently managing accounts with minimal guidance
  • Recent experience supporting New York large employer groups (100-2,000 lives)
  • Strong knowledge of large group plans, products, and financial arrangements (fully insured, level, self-funded, captives)
  • Active Health Insurance License
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel to New York for in-person client meetings
