Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of New York large group employer clients (100–2000 lives) as a trusted advisor
- Lead annual service plan execution including renewals, open enrollment, compliance support, and vendor deployment
- Design creative, consultative benefit solutions based on New York market knowledge and alternative funding arrangements
- Develop and deliver renewal presentations, financial reporting, budget reviews, and education sessions
- Foster executive-level relationships and collaborate with internal teams to streamline servicing
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent education
- 7-15 years of employee benefits experience with a brokerage
- 5+ years of recent experience independently managing accounts with minimal guidance
- Recent experience supporting New York large employer groups (100-2,000 lives)
- Strong knowledge of large group plans, products, and financial arrangements (fully insured, level, self-funded, captives)
- Active Health Insurance License
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to travel to New York for in-person client meetings
