Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise technology solutions across cloud, on-premise infrastructure, and security platforms
• Architect Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC) services in FedRAMP compliant environments
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and GCC services including tenant security, data classification, and identity management
• Implement security controls and support technical compliance for frameworks like NIST SP 800 53, FedRAMP, and CJIS
• Lead technical deployments, migrations, and tenant consolidations
• Mentor junior engineers and create technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments
• Advanced experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCC)
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 and identity platforms
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex, cross-platform technical issues
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Security+, or CISSP
• Experience in regulated or government-contract environments
• Experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code
• Proven experience leading technical initiatives or projects
