Senior Commercial Counsel

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial contracting process end to end, including structuring, drafting, and negotiating customer, partnership, vendor, SaaS, and NDA contracts
• Lead the company’s most complex negotiations and set standards for commercial legal excellence
• Translate legal and risk issues into actionable guidance for the business
• Negotiate data privacy and AI-related terms and advise on data rights and security
• Drive the implementation of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and build scalable legal workflows
• Integrate AI tools to enhance legal efficiency
• Support new product launches and develop foundational commercial documentation

Requirements

• 8+ years of legal experience
• Substantial in-house experience at a fast-paced, high-growth company
• Deep background in commercial contracting
• Strong command of IP and technology licensing
• Fluency in data protection and privacy frameworks
• Experience leading high-stakes negotiations and advising internal stakeholders
• Experience working in regulated industries
