Senior Commercial Counsel

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial contracting function across all product groups including batteries, concrete, composites, and sensors
• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts including supply, distribution, manufacturing, and vendor agreements
• Serve as primary advisor on contract risk, liability, indemnification, warranty, intellectual property, and termination provisions
• Build out contract templates, playbooks, and workflows to drive process improvement
• Partner with Sales, Procurement, Product, and Engineering teams to advance deals
• Support M&A activities and ensure compliance with export control laws

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of legal experience focused on commercial transactions in the technology sector
• Experience with both in-house and law firm environments
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills
• Ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting both U.S. and EU transactions
• Familiarity with export control and trade compliance
• Comfort with AI tools and contract lifecycle management platforms
