Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop existing pipeline and originate new prospects, owning key accounts from first contact through construction and operation
  • Identify how Heat Batteries create value for stakeholders and develop project scope and business relationships to deliver turnkey solutions
  • Work closely with renewable developers, electric utilities, EPCs, application engineering, and project finance teams to structure projects
  • Support development of processes for project deal development including information standards, document tracking, and risk review
  • Qualify potential customers for product fit, understanding heating loads, energy markets, and renewables
  • Manage customer relationships and navigate decision-making processes to close sales
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, present at conferences, webinars, and trade associations
  • Prepare customer materials, perform preliminary technical and financial analysis, and compose MOUs, LOIs, and term sheets

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; MBA or Master's in Energy Sector preferred
  • 5+ years industrial business development and large capital equipment sales experience
  • Experience with micro-grid, CHP, renewable project development, or industrial energy efficiency
  • Proven track record in lead creation, customer relationship nurturing, and repeat sales
  • Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar energy sectors
  • Fluent English; Arabic highly desirable
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency including project financing modeling
