Senior Compliance Audit Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary research and regulatory scanning to understand emerging risks and compliance obligations
• Participate in walkthroughs with Compliance, AML, Legal, and Operations stakeholders
• Perform end-to-end compliance and AML/CTF audits, including control design assessment and effectiveness testing
• Draft audit issues, root-cause analysis, and practical remediation recommendations
• Evaluate compliance with requirements under VARA, SCA, SFC, AUSTRAC, and EU frameworks
• Prepare concise audit reports and present findings to management
• Track remediation progress and validate the implementation of corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support thematic reviews and data-driven audit analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, or Information Systems
• Minimum 7 years of experience in internal audit, compliance audit, or AML/CTF roles within financial services or crypto
• Experience with AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC, or transaction monitoring
• Exposure to cryptocurrency exchange operations or blockchain analytics
• Solid understanding of control design and risk assessment methodologies
• Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus
• Professional certifications such as CIA or ACAMS are preferred
